Young and Eager Travelers Take on this years Cebu Pacific Juan for Fun Backpacker Challenge

The world is now everyone’s oyster, thanks to more affordable Cebu Pacific flights and for these five teams, traveling has never been more exciting. Participating in Cebu Pacific’s Juan for Fun Backpacker Challenge, they’ve taken on the adventure of visiting some of the most popular tourist spots scattered all over the country – within a predetermine budget.

From heritage sites to local delicacies, participants will be navigating their way through Philippines island’s while keeping within the PHP35,000 travel allowance. To help them with their task, Cebu Pacific is getting the aid of Adventure Coaches in the form of the country’s travel-loving celebrities. Putting in their much value expertise are: Saab Magalona, Robi Domingo, Champ LuiPio, Jude Bacalso and Bogart the Explorer.

The Challenger-Adventurers

Each team is composed of three people – all of them hailing from different parts of the country with their very own target destinations. From Bacolod, there’s the #JFFJUANTeamPH composed of Audrey Ramos, Glenn Layola and John Ray Blance with Coach Robi.

Coach Bogart the Explorer will be handling De La Salle students Marie Tuason, Samantha Rice, and Karlo Carranza, aptly named the #JFFTeamPura.

From the University of Philippines-Manila, there’s the #JFFTeamTag composed of April Baldovino, GianNicdao, and Patricia Quintero coached by Champ.

Coach Saab will be helping students from St.Paul University – Brendan Tangan, Cherson Bariuan, and Linus Pagulayan of #JFFTeamPablo.

Last, there’s #JFFTeamWork which will be cheered on by Coach Jude. The team is composed of April Nacion, Serge Calumpong, and Jaysson Presores.

All five teams are already terribly excited with the challenge – and who wouldn’t be? Hailing from different Universities, these young adventurers aren’t strangers to travel and will utilize their resources carefully in order to win this fifth installment of Cebu Pacific’s yearly game. The predetermined limit on expenses definitely makes the whole game much more challenging.

Winners Get More

So what’s in it for the winners? More travel opportunities, of course! The Ultimate Backpackers will win a Travel All You Can pass, allowing each member of the winning team to board any domestic and international short-haul flight they want in one year completely FREE. To make things more memorable, team members will also get freebies and gears that every traveler will find useful in their backpack. In the history of the game, this is by far the BEST winning prize given to competitors.
