“The world is a book, and those who do not travel read only a page.” This is how St. Augustine thought of traveling. It’s like an adventure that opens your eyes to the vast multitudes of possibilities out there in the world. Chances to what you may say? Well chances of seeing the real beauty of everything around you, understanding the simplicity of the complex races, culture and behavior of people, and knowing that everything around you is completely intertwined.
Travel while you are young
So if asked when should you experience all these life transforming events, you shouldn’t have any second thoughts about it. You should feel all of these in your 20s because this is the prelude of your adult years. Apart from this, there other reasons and we’re off to break them down bits by bits here.
#1. Traveling transforms you
Traveling can transform you
Ah, how does one travel change a person? Well, you’ll never know unless you try. These are the years in life where we prepare to venture in to the things that most probably aren’t as much as enjoyable when we’re already in our 40s.
#2. It’s easier when you’re not thinking of others
Relaxing
As mentioned earlier, there are things better enjoyed at younger ages like traveling. One common fact is that during our 30’s most likely we have more kids and more responsibilities. Sure it’s fun to travel around with your children, but it’s never the same venturing the world and discovering great things without thinking of anything else but yourself.
#3. It’s the perfect time to experiment
Seek for Adventure
You’re real career is somewhere out there waiting to be discovered, and you my friend have more opportunity of opening yourself to more chances of getting to know what you really want. Besides, comes the time you’re fully committed to work, you’d only get sparse time for leisure activities.
#4. There’s more freedom
Find your Freedom
There’s always the freedom in deciding for yourself, assuming of course that you aren’t with kids and other obligations yet. More responsibilities is equal to more financial obligations, which is why of course, the earlier you start traveling, the better!
#5. You’ll never know how much the price would spike
Traveling Alone is Liberating
In ten years time all the travel expenses that you ought to pay for would double, or triple. So there may be lesser places that you could go travel to, and there could be lesser things that you can do since more often than not, these places wouldn’t be the same as it is now.
#6. Ah, the years catch on fast
Try new things while you are young
Imagine all the wrinkles you’d get from all the stress you’ll be having in the years to come? Would it not be better to take pictures of your must-see places now? Plus there are some adventures that are better taken when you’re all fit and young.
#7. The younger you start, the more the memories
Create Happy Memories
Would it not be better to have more happy memories so you could keep on piling them up for future tell tales? Would it not be e fun to tell your kids someday and inspire them to experience the same thing all over again with you?
#8. The world is getting old too!
There are several destinations that would be altered, destroyed, or obliterated in the next few years. There would definitely come a time when we can only see them in pictures, postcards, and wallpapers. So why not grab the chance when they’re still there?
