Organized by Republiq Group of Companies (RGC)—the makers of Bai TV—and the Creator and Influencer Council of the Philippines (CICP), this annual event, which started in 2018, in Cebu City, seeks to connect content creators and influencers with their audience, as well as with brands and advertising agencies. The entire event will be livestreamed via Facebook and Kumu while selected segments will also air over TikTok.

This year’s theme, “Space Invasion,” features two activity “planets” for participants to engage in. Planet Nume is the learning planet where space adventurers can join learning sessions on content creation, digital marketing, and other interesting topics from the roster of top influencers and content creators in the Philippines today. Among them are Macoy Dubs, Marvin Fojas, Rain Matienzo, Kyo Quijano, and Rozel Basilio.

The second activity cluster, Planet 386 a.k.a. the amusement planet will feature fun activities such as TikTok Dance Parties, performance numbers from the influencers, and games where participants can join in.

This event is free for everyone and best viewed using Smart GIGA Stories 99, which comes with a total of 16GB mobile data. This offer gives users 14GB Free Stories for All to access Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok at 2GB per day for 7 days, plus 2GB worth of open access data.

BaiCon InFest 2020 is powered by Smart LTE, the country’s fastest and most reliable mobile data network, as certified by third-party mobile analytics firms such as Opensignal and Ookla.

Recently, independent mobile analytics firm Opensignal showed in its report that Smart has been consistently offering a much better Video Experience for subscribers compared to the competition for the past seven quarters starting in Q3 2018. Smart’s Video Experience score has increased from 42.4 points to 53.5 points, rising 11.1 points (26.3%) between Q3 2018 and Q1 2020.

Opensignal also noted in its April 2020 Mobile Network Experience Report for the Philippines that Smart remained ahead of the competition in terms of Video Experience, Upload and Download Speed Experience, Voice App Experience, Games Experience, and 4G Availability.

On the other hand, Ookla, the global leader in internet testing and analysis, recently named Smart as the country’s fastest mobile data network in the first half of 2020 after it achieved a Speed Score™ of 18.33, with average speeds of 15.94 Mbps for download, and 7.57 Mbps for upload, based on 2,810,963 user-initiated tests taken with Speedtest®.
