About Rapha Valley Place of Wellness
The Rapha Valley Place of Wellness is a health and wellness destination in Don Salvador Benedicto, Negros Occidental.
The farm’s name, Rapha Valley, originated from Jehovah Rapha, which means “God is our healer.” The aptly named health and wellness destination mirror the advocacy of Marilou Jo and Dr. Albert Jo, the founders, and owners of Rapha Valley, towards organic farming. This cause also follows what Hippocrates said, “Let your food be your medicine.”
Rapha Valley Place of Wellness was also conceptualized to let the public experience Dr. Jo’s teachings on health and wellness, especially in cooking. All of Rapha Valley’s organic produce is exclusively served for the guests to enjoy healthy and delicious dishes.
Rapha Valley Place of Wellness is more than just an organic farm. Rapha Valley also has rooms for guests and a restaurant that serves plant-based dishes. One of Rapha Valley’s attractions is the engaging lectures from Dr. Jo himself during tours and programs on the farm.
Dr. Albert Jo also serves as the President of NICERT, or the Negros Island Certification Board for Organic Agriculture. NICERT is a distinguished certification that supports and promotes the organic farming industry in Negros Occidental. Acquiring a NICERT Certification establishes the legitimacy of the “organic” produce and the farms that generate them.
