PUBLIC SERVICE: Free access to DOH information for Smart, Sun and TNT customers

DOH COVID-19 Updates

Manila, Philippines — Following the government’s declaration of a State of Public Health Emergency, the public’s need to access accurate and reliable information about COVID-19 has become more urgent.

To help people get correct and up-to-date information on COVID-19, PLDT Inc’s wireless subsidiary Smart Communications, Inc. (Smart) has made access to the Department of Health (DOH) websites free since end-January.

Through their mobile phones, Smart, Sun and TNT customers can access DOH’s tracking site for free at https://ncovtracker.doh.gov.ph.

The DOH tracker website provides the latest information regarding the number and general location of Persons Under Investigation (PUI). Earlier, Smart had made the main DOH website (www.doh.gov.ph) accessible free of charge, along with the PHIVOLCS website (www.phivolcs.dost.gov.ph).

“Let us work together in dealing with this health crisis by helping share the correct information about what is happening and on how to best safeguard our health and that of our families and communities,” said PLDT-Smart Public Affairs Head Ramon R. Isberto.
