Grab Exciting Travel Deals at the Philippine Travel Mart 2019
Manila, Philippines — This year’s Philippine Travel Mart 2019 (PTM), the so-called longest-running travel trade exhibition in the Philippines — is set on August 30 to September 1, 2019.

The Philippine Tour Operators Association (PHILTOA), the organizer of the said event, promises that the event is going to be “the most memorable” as the exhibition is now on its 30th anniversary.
For this year, the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City is going to be packed with over 250 exhibitors. Participants include hotels/resorts, theme parks, airlines, and tours and travel agencies.

The four halls of the convention center will be divided into four zones. The Pink Zone will be occupied by exhibitors from Culinary and Health and Wellness; the Blue Zone is for Cruise, Sun, Beach, and Marine Sports; Green Nature for Cultural and Farm Tourism; and Yellow Zone for MICE and Entertainment.

Specific Dates to Remember
If you are interested to attend the PTM, you have to take note of these important dates: This will be opened to the public from 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM from August 30 through September 1, 2019. Note, though, that the show is going to start from 11:00 AM on August 30 as it is going to be exclusive to the industry from 8:00 through 11:00 AM. Foreign and corporate buyers during this period will meet and visit the participants of the trade show.

PTM’s Objective
Its aim is to promote and develop domestic as well as inbound tourism. This event is going to showcase the best attractions and tourism offerings in different parts of the country.
But, of course, it will also promote intra-regional travel because the Philippines is part of the ASEAN Community. That is why, visitors of the PTM shall expect to see offerings in an array of ASEAN countries, including China, Japan, and Korea.

Special Offerings to Millennials
This event is specifically targeted at millennials. As such, the PTM will give away some promos and offerings to them. People can expect to see such offerings online before and during the show. Before the event, there will also some promo contests. Winners will be treated to Php 5,000 to Php 25,000 worth of travel vouchers that they can redeem when they purchase tour packages during the event.

This Year’s Theme
Carrying the theme “Fostering Sustainable and Inclusive Tourism,” the organizer says it will use electronic boards rather than non-biodegradable materials in its marketing collaterals. In most parts of the event, exhibitors and the organizer will also make use of paperless transactions.

Sale ng Bayan B to C Meeting
This lets customers “book and buy” promo airfare deals, promo holiday packages, accommodation, and more. It is also worth noting that consumers may avail of offerings for as low as 70 percent off for the island fun tour caravan as well as the “bucket” list destination packages.

PTM’s Cultural Events
In a bid to attract more consumers, there will also be a multitude of cultural events that will be held simultaneously during the exhibition. For example, there will be competitions, such as Himig ng Kundiman, Eco Chorale, Cultural Dance Competition, Patimpalak ng Kasuotang Pilipino, plus the Philippine Tourism Quiz Bee Finals. Those who wish to join the said cultural events and competitions may check out the mechanics and important schedule through the organizer’s website: www.philtoa.com.
