Summit Ridge Hotel Tagaytay Facade
Together with other bloggers, we were invited for a weekend of Yoga, Zumba, Signature Massage, Coffee Appreciation, Movie under the stars and never-ending food and fun! We started our first day by experiencing their Filipino Summer Fiesta Lunch courtesy of C2 Classic Cuisine. C2 – Summit Ridge Tagaytay’s (check rates) only restaurant served a wide variety of authentic Pinoy dishes like seared Tilapia with Pinapple salsa, Fried Sumpia (Lumpia with prawns), Kare-Kare, Sotanghon Guisado (my favorite), Crispy Chicken, Pork BBQ, Palabok and Inasal Rice. For dessert, they served Panacota with Kapeng Barako, Sapin-Sapin, Kutsinta, Palitaw, Puto and fresh fruits.
After our short break we headed to a function room right next to the Gym for the Yoga Session. Everyone enjoyed the Yoga class except for me who thinks that taking photos will still be the best way to relax while in a Yoga session:) After the Yoga class, we found ourselves back in the restaurant tryout C2’s unlimited cake and coffee offering.
The cakes are really good but we realized that they also prepared a special dinner for us so we really had to stop eating:) We then decided to head back to our respective rooms and have a short rest and prepare for another food tasting aka “Dinner”. Our dinner merits a separate blogpost so let me just share to you what I love about my room.
My room was on the 7th floor and I had a wonderful view of the beautiful Taal Lake in my own balcony. Staying in the Balcony is so relaxing and the breeze is calming. The room is huge and complete with everything that you need from toiletries to hotel sandals and bathrobe. Although I brought my Smart LTE Pocket Wifi, I rarely used it since their internet is really fast and reliable. I guess my favorite part of the room is their Bed and their super soft pillows, I wish I can bring them home haha.
After our dinner, we watched the movie “Life of Pi” at their garden sitting in their huge sofa while enjoying a cup of tea, brownies and truffles courtesy of C2 Classic Cuisine. More than just the beautiful film, we enjoyed watching the movie under the stars with the cool Tagaytay weather. That was a perfect way to cap the night.
