Multi-awarded film and photography experts judge Cebu Pacific’s Wandering Juan Video Contest

Three of the country’s top filmmakers and photographers will judge the entries of Cebu Pacific’s Wandering Juan Video Contest when it ends on January 31, 2012. Cebu Pacific Air, in partnership with the Department of Tourism’s Tourism Promotions Board (TPB), is giving travel aficionados who are into documenting their trips, the opportunity to help promote the country’s must-see destinations.

The country’s biggest airline, Cebu Pacific sought the expertise of top creative minds such as filmmaker Paolo Villaluna, travel photographer Ferdinand Decena, and screenwriter and film critic Clodualdo del Mundo Jr. to select the first-ever Wandering Juan Video Contest winners.

Paolo Villaluna, director of acclaimed weekly documentary Storyline, is an Urian award-winning filmmaker who has represented the Philippines in several international film festivals. Ferdinand Decena, is co-founder of BackPack Photography, offering photography group tours and workshops around the Philippines. Clodualdo del Mundo, a professor at the Communications Department of the De La Salle University, has written some of the most celebrated Filipino films. The three will be joining Cebu Pacific and Department of Tourism representatives in choosing the top three (3) Wandering Juan videos.

Wandering Juans can share their fun travels and adventures through a music video until January 31, 2012 through CEB’s YouTube Channel.

The winner for the best music video will get six domestic airline tickets along with a 3

Days / 2 nights stay in Boracay Regency Beach Resort and Spa in Boracay for six. The second place winner gets four domestic airline tickets and a 3 days/ 2 nights stay in Club Paradise in Coron, Palawan for four. The third placer will win four airline tickets and a 3 days /2 nights stay in Pearl Farm Beach Resort in Samal Island, Davao for four.
