KiKi Tea & Shanghai Tang Jointly Present Two Snapworthy Limited Edition Drinks for Autumn

Reimagined chrysanthemum-themed beverages with snap-worthy floating flower inspired by Shanghai Tang’s new scent.

A Trendy Tribute to the Oriental Chrysanthemum

Hong Kong – Trendsetting KiKi Tea is partnering internationally renowned Chinese luxury lifestyle brand Shanghai Tang to launch two limited-edition chrysanthemum-themed drinks from 28 September to 8 November 2020.

A trendy and modern tribute to the revered oriental flower, this collaboration features two snapshot-worthy versions of KiKi Tea’s signature crowd-pleasing Taiwanese tea sensations, updated with chrysanthemum-inspired elements and especially suitable for autumn.

Iced Chrysanthemum Lavender Jasmine Tea (HK$38) is based on the brand’s signature Jasmine tea, infused with fresh gold whole chrysanthemum, rosemary and lavender extract, with chewy aiyu jelly. Vegan-friendly, the iced beverage is great for cooling down after spicy or deep-fried meals and is especially insta-worthy, with the gradient effect of a whole chrysanthemum floating on ice.

Regarded as the resilient, tenacious hermit in Chinese culture, the chrysanthemum is also honored in Shanghai Tang’s new Chrysanthemum home fragrance collection.

KiKi Tea’s two limited-edition beverages are curated with the elegant and lightly fragrant chrysanthemum, a symbol of longevity used for hundreds of years in Chinese medicine for its health-giving properties to treat respiratory problems, high blood pressure, and hyperthyroidism.

The highlight of this 360-degree snap-worthy thirst quencher is the floating flower – a chrysanthemum dancing dreamily in the drink. Chrysanthemum tea is also renowned as a great health drink for its cooling and calming effects, especially soothing after consuming oily foods.

Shanghai Tang’s Chrysanthemum Home Fragrance Collection is likewise a tribute to the chrysanthemum’s renown as the resilient, tenacious hermit in Chinese culture. The brand new scent was inspired by Chinese culture and the iconic plant found in the fabled Huangshan — the ‘Yellow Mountain’.

The Chrysanthemum fragrance is warm and autumnal, effusing a floral, aromatic bouquet with spicy accords to delight those with a taste for oriental scents.
