Kaamulan Festival 2009 Best Float goes to Valencia City

According to www.bukidnononline.com, Valencia City won the 2009 Kaamulan Festival Best Float Competition.

The City of Malaybalay won second place, while the Municipality of Malitbog won third place. Prices won by Malaybalay City were P30,000, while Malitbog town received P20,000.

The yearly Kaamulan Festival Float Design competition was joined by seven (7) contingents from different parts of Bukidnon and Mindanao.

We just got back from Bukidnon, and we really enjoyed the festival. Although we could not witness the first 6 contingents street dancing performance, our overall experience was still memorable.
