Tenerife, a city that comes alive by night! To some, this could only suggest that a city renowned for its buzzing clubs and famous skylight discos only caters for the party animals of our century. However, you can be rest assured that when it comes to nightlife, Tenerife tops the list of holiday destinations. Whether you’re looking for a wild nightclub, a mellow street cafe or an inviting family venue, you can complete your relaxing day on the beach in style…….unless you plan on getting ridiculously inebriated.
The Market Tavern
Looking to bop till breakfast? Then head to the most concentrated area of pubs and clubs – Playa de las Americas. These clubs stay open all night and often don’t start buzzing till 1am, so you’re in for a long night of action. If it’s a pub crawl, foam party, pool party or rocking DJ rave you’re looking to attend then you’ll find it here. Alternatively, Veronica’s is another hotspot in town, where you can party in style in one of the most famous complexes for drawing in hotlist DJ’s. Try and make an appearance in Tramp’s, Bobby’s or Busby’s! And don’t be offended if you get funny looks for not sporting the most vibrant fancy dress outfit!
Taboo’s Goes Italian
Whilst this is perfect for die hard part goers, it is not so heavenly for people who like to roll with style and sophistication, ending the night at a more respectful hour. Nevertheless, you still don’t have to miss out on entertainment. Head for Puerto de la Cruz or Santa Cruz, where you can enjoy traditional music in chilled out bars or night cafe’s. They stamp their own panache and style into the decor, ambiance and menu. Brilliant if you want to accompany a night of entertainment with a bite to eat!
Tipsy Terrace is certainly one of the venues to hit in Los Gigantes. Acting as a perfect representation for what Tenerife has to offer, it has one of the best show bars and the greatest all-round fun venue for singles, couples, party groups and families.
Wherever you find yourself at night, entertainment will never be short. Get yourself there now and enjoy the peak season for the ‘Carnival experience’. Whether you’re stumbling out of a bar at 2am or leaving the tapas bar for a moonlit stroll back to your hotel room, the island will be exploding into a riot of parades and partying. An experience not to miss out on!
