Momo’s KL, Kuala Lumpur’s New Hotspot in the heart of The Chow Kit Neighborhood for 2020

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia — Are you currently on the lookout for a fresh hotspot in Kuala Lumpur, particularly in the Chow Kit Neighborhood? MoMo’s, the new playful hospitality concept of Ormond Group, recently opened its newest property named MoMo’s KL.

Deemed the very first property of Momo’s KL Hotel in central Kuala Lumpur (check rates), the property boasts 99 guest rooms.

It is seen as a new exciting hangout in the city as it offers a laid-back and fun multi-dimensional space.

Apart from its micro rooms, the property also offers its guests a dynamic social space.

“The hotel has been designed to inspire memorable moments, through a few creative programming and a unique food and beverage offering,” reads a press statement from MoMo’s KL.

It is worth mentioning that the property’s hosts have a unique way to welcome guests during their arrival. Specifically, the hosts make them cocktail or coffee while guests are waiting for them to be checked in.

MoMo’s KL embraces the open house culture of Asia. It boasts an informal environment, allowing its guests to have fun and relax as well as feel at home.


The property houses MoMosita’s which is the new casual concept from Christian Bauer and Eddie Chew of Troika Sky Dining – deemed leading Malaysian F&B Operators.

Described as a self-serve and fun dive bar, this restaurant does serve a wide array of Mexican snacks and dishes. On top of that, it also features bottled cocktails and draft beer.

In terms of food offerings, it offers Tacos with chicken, sweet Churros, Lamb Barbacoa, Cauliflower and Lentil Tostada’s, and a lot more.

Open in the evenings, the restaurant features late-night music programming every Friday and Saturdays.

The CEO of Ormong Group Gareth Lim says that the property gives fresh personality to the city as it offers a design-focused and value-conscious experience to culturally driven and young travelers.

“Social interaction is central to MoMo’s ethos and looks forward to being part of the regeneration of the Chow Kit neighborhood,” said Lim.
