HEYTEA Supports Community Response Efforts in Singapore
In January, when Wuhan was undergoing the hardest time combating with COVID-19 outbreak, HEYTEA made a donation and provided essential supplies to medical frontliners in Wuhan. In February, HEYTEA offered continued support to the community in Singapore, with 2 rounds of donations and 700 Care Packages in support of local frontline medics.
On February 29, HEYTEA dedicated 200 meal packages to the medical frontliners at the Singapore General Hospital, and provided 500 cups of tea to healthcare workers in the “Ode to Healthcare Front-liners Campaign” initiated by the hospital and Singapore Mediacorp.

HEYTEA’s Ongoing Relief Efforts
HEYTEA has extended commitment to virus relief efforts, especially in Wuhan, the COVID-19 hotspot, since the outbreak of the pandemic. On January 25, HEYTEA donated 1 million CNY to the Chinese Red Cross for the construction of Leishenshan Hospital while its stores in Wuhan were temporarily closed. On January 28, HEYTEA served 140 sets of drinks and food to the Shanghai Medical Team. On February 8, 300 hot drinks were sent to the main campus of Wuhan Union Hospital.
Strict Sanitation Protocol for the Safety of Employees and Customers
HEYTEA has reinforced prevention measurements since the COVID-19 outbreak, supplying PPE and sanitizers/disinfectants, while strengthening food hygiene and sanitation practices.
Protocols to guarantee the health, protection, and product safety:
- All employees must wear masks and gloves at all times, and they must be changed regularly.
- All employees wash hands every hour, and all touched surfaces are sanitized every hour.
- Hand sanitizer is provided and available in stores.
- A Delivery Care Card is attached with each delivery order, where the name and body temperature of the Tea Brewer, Drink Server, and Deliverer of the package are recorded and tracked.
