Harbour Chateau Resort Review
3 Day Trip in Romblon
My 3-day trip to romblon was definitely memorable, thanks to the ever so satisfying stay at Harbour Chateau Resort in Odiongan, Romblon.
With just a few minutes away from the city, this hotel is one of top hotel choices by most tourists who leisurely visits the province.

Romblon, touted as the Marble Capital of the Philippines is an archipelagic province located in the MIMAROPA region. If you travel from the Romblon Airport going to Odiongan, you’ll get to take in the sights of the rich plantations and vegetations. You would not get bored with the lush sceneries, and picture worthy hills along the way.
Fortunately, Romblon is blessed with tranquil beaches, rivers, mountains, and diverse ecosystem. The province also offers exciting adventures such as scuba diving, snorkeling, and trekking.
Just recently, the 3rd MIMAROPA Festival was held at Odiongan, Romblon, which opened more opportunities to the province, when it comes to trade and tourism.
The Hotel
The hotel name might sound intimidating, but it differs in reality. From the moment you enter the hotel, you will obviously hear the sound of the waves.

Check-in was taken care of the Department of Tourism who assisted the national media during our stay in Romblon.
Harbour Chateau Resort has a total room of 53. Amazingly, the hotel has wisely maximized its room space for a more convenient stay. Our room was equipped with a cabled TV, a cabinet, a sofa, a dining table, coffee making facilities for 2, and a veranda with the breathtaking view of the sea.

If you’re feeling hungry, the newly opened Harbour Café is ready to serve you from morning til evening. A mini store located in the ground floor is open 24 hours. They also have a huge menu offering from pizzas, pastas, and other comfort foods.
Just a slight letdown, although the flush seems to work properly, there’s a lack of water flow when you use the shower. We recommend you request for a pale where you can fill in water for your next use.

Best part of the day to stay at the veranda is during sunset. It is no doubt, you’ll get that relaxing and fulfilling moment when the sky does it magic.
On evenings, the hotel invites acoustic performers to entertain hotel guests. So aside from a daytrip in the city, you’ll also get to jam to cap off your day.
Recommended Activities in Odiongan

During our stay, we got the chance to visit the Rising Pili nuts where we discovered how it is processed and packaged for export. We also visited the Looc Marine Sanctuary which is a host for different types of fishes. You can also feed them bread and rice.
Snorkeling is also the most recommended water activities not only in Odiongan, but in the whole province of Romblon.
Make your stay worthwhile through staying at Harbour Chateau Resort in Odiongan.
