FOX Sports Philippines launches exclusive coverage of the Bundesliga 2015 / 2016 Season

FOX Sports Philippines officially announced its exclusive and comprehensive coverage of the Bundesliga 2015 / 2016 Season on Tuesday, August 18, in W Global Building in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.

The Bundesliga game is deemed as the primary competition series of the German Football League.

FOX Sports Philippines reported to the members of the press, during a presentation, that “the channel has acquired a five-year rights deal with the Deutsche Fußball Liga GmbH — the league association responsible for the games.”

Football enthusiasts in the country can watch the Bundesliga 2015 / 2016 Season, live and exclusive on FOX Sports Philippines, every weekend.

Jude Turcuato, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Fox Philippines, said that the channel will be providing five to six live matches every week. He added that its ancillary programming is composed of highlights, replays, magazine shows and a dedicated studio team bringing the fans live action from their studios in Singapore.

The channel already commenced its live and exclusive coverage of the Bundesliga last August 15.

FOX Sports Philippines can be seen via Sky Cable ch. 31, Cignal Digital TV ch. 48, Destiny Cable ch. 31, Dream Satellite ch. 38, GSat ch. 126, Cable Link ch. 56 as well as over 150 cable operators across the country.

The channel also announced its official Twitter and Instagram account: @FoxSports_Ph; and its official hashtag: #Bundesliga.

Brew Kettle – Asia Brewery also collaborates with the sports channel in presenting the Bundesliga games.

“We’re going to provide limited edition bottles, with images of the clubs and players on the back labels. These limited edition bottles will be seen at your convenient stores soon; in October of this year,” said VP Marketing for Asia Brewery Inc., Manny Escosa.

Reports say, Bundesliga has the highest in-arena attendance. It has an average per-game headcount of roughly 45,000 spectators for every match. Bundesliga game also boasts the record with the highest average goals scored per match.
