When did you start blogging, Why do you blog?

I started my blog in May 2015. Initially, I only intended to write a travel guide to my hometown Bantayan Island to address the repeated inquiries from my Facebook friends. The response was overwhelming and it inspired me to create more travel guides and stories to share my experiences while traveling.

Tell us more about your hometown.

My hometown is Bantayan Island, a little piece of heaven located in northern Cebu. It is extremely idyllic and peaceful. Tourists flock to this tropical paradise every Holy Week for its famous procession and uniques ceremonies.

Lessons you learned on the road?

Trust your instincts. However, once in a while, don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone. You will surprise yourself.
