• Beach or Mountain?

I truly love both! Mountains give me positive energy and the views make me the happiest person ever. But when I’m at a beach and it’s not freaking hot, there is nothing better and I just don’t need anything else but to relax and swim there.

• How often do you travel by air / land?

It really depends on the continent and how much time I have. In Europe I travel mostly by air but then I go to a different continent and I spend there more time and get from destination A to B by land (bus or train). In 2012 I was on 26 flights.

• What’s your favorite airport?

I have spent the most time probably at London Stansted and even though there is no free wifi there which sucks, I would probably say it’s this airport. Or Singapore one is more ”luxury”.

• What is your favorite Hotel?

I just stayed in Sheraton Bratislava and so loved it. I hardly ever stay in hotels in my home country so this time I had a blast! I had a massage on the same table like Kevin Costner. Enough said! 🙂

• What is your preferred Airline?

I don’t have any but I definitely can tell you which one is not – Ryanair. I used to work for them so I saw many things passengers don’t see so I just cannot be its fan.

• How do you beat jet lag / Motion sickness?

I can’t really say I get jet lag as I am an insomniac so my days are a bit messy when it comes to sleep anyway. Never had motion sickness so far so I just might be lucky!

• What are your favorite travel gadgets?

My Nikon DSLR camera, a waterproof camera, Drift camera for extreme sports videos, laptop and a phone. If I have these, and a bikini, then I have everything 🙂

• Any Tips on how to travel light?

The worst problem for me are all the gadgets as you can see. The rest is pretty easy. The more you travel, the more you realize you don’t need many material things in life. I can give you some girl tips – no jewelry or watch needed when traveling, take leggins and dresses that can be both for beach and a night out! Easy peasy 🙂 I only pack my favorite things as the rest I would hardly use anyway.

• Best Backpack Brand?

None, I always get the one I can see the first.

• Top 3 Philippine Destinations?

Uff, tough one! If I have to choose just 3, then Boracay, El Nido and Bohol in no specific order.

• Top 3 International Destinations?

Mexico – difficult to choose just one destination there as I love the whole country; Barcelona – is my favorite city in the world so far so no doubt about it; and the third I could say Argentina and its Patagonia – I loved Ushuaia (supposed to be the Southernmost town in the world) and also El Calafate.

Favorite Travel Quote

The one by Mark Twain that 20 years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you have not done than by those you did.
