The combination of Hilton Worldwide’s internationally-renowned hospitality expertise and SM’s proficiency at handling the local market makes this an exciting partnership. Elizabeth Sy, president of SMHCC, says that the Conrad Hotel Manila is an important piece in their strategy to make the most of the strong demand from both international and domestic leisure and business travelers.

Conrad Hotel Manila is strategically located on the 42-hectare SM Bay City development, adjacent to the SMX Convention and Exhibition Center and a few kilometers away from Ninoy Aquino International Airport and the Makati Central Business District (CBD). It’s a few steps away from the SM Mall of Asia, which boasts as being the 4th largest shopping mall in the world. The 350-room hotel will have two floors of entertainment and retail shops on ground level. Guests will be able to enjoy a swimming pool, fitness club, spa, business center and a 1,446 square-meter ballroom among other function rooms.

Conrad Hotels & Resorts is the global luxury brand of Hilton Worldwide, with more than 20 branches all over the worlds. Representatives said that Manila is a strategic location since it is the main gateway to other tourist destinations in the country.

SMHCC has introduced 4 other hotels in the Philippines: the Taal Vista Hotel in Tagaytay, the Radisson Blu in Cebu, the Pico Sands Hotel in Nasugbu Batangas and the Park Inn Hotel in Davao. Not only do they manage hotels, they are also the leading conventions operator in the Philippines through the SMX Convention Center with outlets in Davao and the Mall of Asia Complex, and the SM Megamall and SM City Cebu Megatrade Halls.
