Hotel Maya

Location: Upper Libis, Palawan Island 5315 Philippines
If you want to be conveniently near to everything, then Hotel Maya is the place to be. Aside from being budget-friendly, it sits next to the church and is a minute’s walk to the shore. Definitely a breath of fresh air!
This accommodation was used as a shooting venue for the movie Culion. It used to be a dormitory for girls whose parents were afflicted with Hansen’s disease. According to history, it also used to be a home for orphaned and abandoned children.
All rooms are clean, airconditioned, and have a functioning internet connection, so you can answer emails and do some work here too. To get here, from Busuanga Airport, ride a van to Coron Town Proper/Coron Pier. Look for a ride going to Culion town.
