Negros Occidental and Bacolod Travel Requirements 2022
Bacolod City is a highly urbanized city in the Western Visayas Region known for its colorful festivals like the MassKara Festival. Visitors should practice COVID Precautionary Measures such as wearing face masks, frequent hand washing, physical distancing, and getting vaccinated. This way, visitors can safely enjoy the local Bacolod cuisine, visit local cultural attractions and explore the ancestral homes in the city.
As of June 2022, Bacolod was placed under Alert Level 01 until June 30, 2022. Travel to Bacolod for business or leisure is allowed. Fully Vaccinated tourists of foreign nationality with no requirements of quarantine are allowed to enter. This easing of travel restrictions has been effective since February 2022. Before visiting the province, Travelers must register with the BacTRAC system, Bacolod City’s COVID-19 Contact Tracing System. Other requirements to enter Bacolod are listed below.

List Of Requirements for travelers to Negros Occidental
Fully Vaccinated Travelers
- Valid Government-Issued I.D.
- COVID-19 Vaccination Card
Partially/Unvaccinated Travelers
- Valid Government-Issued I.D.
- Negative Non-reactive Rapid Antigen Test Result taken from any DOH-accredited laboratories released within forty-eight (48) hours prior to travel
- Rapid Antigen Test Result to be conducted by the Province of Negros Occidental
- This test is free of charge upon arrival
Government officials/personnel on official business
Shall be allowed unimpeded travel to their place of destination provided that they:
- Present Valid I.D.s issued by their respective government agency
- Present Original or Certified True Copy of Travel Authority/Order issued by the Department Secretary or his/her designated official

Fully Vaccinated Travelers
- Valid Government-Issued I.D.
- COVID-19 Vaccination Card
- Online BacTRAC registration (via bacolodcity.gov.ph)
Partially/Unvaccinated Travelers
- Valid Government-Issued I.D.
- Online BacTRAC registration (via bacolodcity.gov.ph)
- Negative Rapid Antigen Test Result from any DOH-accredited laboratories released within forty-eight (48) hours prior to travel
Fully Vaccinated Travelers are considered fully vaccinated if:
- Traveler has more than or equal to two (2) weeks after having received the second dose in a 2-dose vaccine or;
- Traveler has more than or equal to two (2) weeks after having received a single-dose vaccine
