Piers van der Merwe spent most of his life starting and running companies that provided IT solutions for businesses. Now he operates in the non-profit world and travels about 200,000 miles a year for a variety of purposes, some pure pleasure. Piers loves the different cultures of the world. Born and raised in Zimbabwe, Piers has lived in France, England, South Africa and now the USA. He loves photography and combines this passion with his travel.
