Known as the Marble Capital of the Philippines, Romblon’s marble can compete with the world’s best. Other than their economy, Romblon is also blessed to have beautiful beaches, mountains, diverse ecosystems, and rivers.

If you are in for different adventures like scuba diving, snorkeling or trekking, Romblon is a must-see for you! However, the big problem that most travelers feel when going to this picturesque province is the long transportation time.

Lucky for us, instead of the usual long transportation going to the province, it’s made shorter and better.

Shorter Travel Time

The transportation time from Batangas Port to Tablas Island, Romblon is now reduced to four hours starting May 23, 2018. Thanks to Ocean Fast Ferries’ OceanJet 3 for adding this new route. The OceanJet 3 will have its daily operations from Batangas to Odiongan to Caticlan.

Passengers with Firearms

A firearm must be turned over to the Vessel Captain and head security before boarding. It can only be claimed upon arrival of the vessel at the port of destination.

Passengers with Pets

No live animals will be allowed on board. Exceptions are fighting cocks, dogs, cats, rabbits, and other household pets. This is provided that the passenger presents a Quarantine Permit and the animals are properly caged.

Pregnant Women

Pregnant women with less than or equal to 24 weeks or 6 months to a full term must sign a waiver of liability in favor of the carrier and must present, upon boarding the vessel, a medical certificate attesting to their fitness to undertake sea travel, otherwise, the carrier reserves the right to deny them boarding the vessel. Pregnant women with more than the allowable pregnancy period may be denied boarding.
