AirAsia Zest announces “Fly-Thru” service to Australia from Manila NAIA Terminal 4

Seamless transit, hassle-free luggage check-in and other connecting convenience are now possible from as low as Php5,609, all-in fare for one way only

AirAsia Zest, the low cost carrier that flies hand in hand with AirAsia, voted the World’s Best Low Cost Carrier for five consecutive years, today announced it is now offering “Fly-Thru” service from Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 4 to Melbourne, Adelaide and Sydney in Australia.

AirAsia Zest’s Fly-Thru service offers guests seamless transit, hassle free luggage check-in and other connecting convenience when traveling between Philippines and Australia. Fly-Thru allows AirAsia Zest guests to seamlessly connect on multiple flight legs (on certain flights) without needing to pass through immigration, collect bags, check-in between flights or have a transit visa. Bags will be automatically checked through to the final destination.

Guests who will avail of the Fly-Thru service via www.airasia.com starting today will enjoy all-in introductory promo fares from as low as Php5,609 for Manila-Adelaide, Php6,999 for Manila – Sydney  and  Php7, 179 for Manila-Melbourne.

“We offer guests the convenience of connecting seamlessly at low fares and at the same time ensuring that our guests enjoy only the best quality service from us,” AirAsia Zest CEO Joy Caneba said.

Upon arrival at AirAsia transit point in Kuala Lumpur International Airport 2 (klia2), passengers with onward boarding pass will be asked to proceed to International Transfer and go through security check.

To celebrate the new fly thru service, AirAsia Zest offers “Buy Now, Fly Now” promo fares starting today until July 13, 2014. Guest who will avail of this promo via www.airasia.com would be able to travel until November 13, 2014.

“The seamless connectivity and convenience of traveling between Philippines and Australia via our fly thru service will further boost tourism and encourage our Filipino overseas workers to come home as often as possible,” Caneba added.
