Seven Romantic Restaurants in Cebu City
Table of Contents
Exclusive with a sense of class and refinement, a dream dining destination conducive for a great conversation where you can look into each other’s eyes without a care in the world, if this is your definition of a romantic restaurant, then book a dinner reservation for two at these seven places at the Queen City of the South:
OLA RESTOBAR

Hello, it’s me. Located beneath The Maxwell Hotel in Escario, this is a favorite among local personalities for its elegance and handpicked international cuisine. Their bestsellers include Paella Valenciana and their Salmon Steak. Weekends here are defined by signature cocktails with live eighties hits performed on stage.
GARDEN CAFÉ AT CEBU MARRIOTT

In terms of customer service, nothing beats Cebu City Marriott Hotel, well at least if you’re referring to this list in particular. High ceilings and surrounded by clear glass walls with a view of the garden and the pool, you’ll surely get your money’s worth from their Asian flavors buffet. Don’t forget to feed each other with their delectable cupcakes. You can even extend your date to Ayala Terraces.
DISTRICT AT 53RD

Situated in the busy IT Park Lahug, this restaurant by the Anzani Group sure knows how to impress casual diners with their flair for Italian food presentation and their wide selection of gelato flavors. Housing a good collection of fine wine, just make sure you drop by after office hours and not in the middle of the day.
TINDERBOX

Now a four in one gastronomic destination in between Bauhinia Drive and Crossroads Banilad, you’ll never run out of options when you choose to dine here. Quality cold cuts at Tinderbox, prime cut steaks at Anzani Prime, a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon from Bibendum’s Wine Cellar and a bit of dirty dancing at Morals and Malice without ever moving your car.
EL VIENTO AT MARCO POLO

Quite a romantic dining experience by the pool with a live band performing love hits on the background. This restaurant is popular for its fresh-from-the-brick-oven pizza. On that particular visit however, our dinner consisted of Filipino creations cooked live with fires ablaze and presented on sizzling platters. What’s great here is that you can head onto Blu Bar and Grill right after for a bottle of champagne and a view of the Lahug skyline.
AMPERSAND

“Candy is dandy but liquor is quicker”, a saying plastered on the open bar’s wall which is the highlight of this bistro over at Banilad Town Center. Make sure to order the Duterte cocktail and pair it with their Pulled Pork Flat Bread. But if you’re looking for Filipino food with a twist, try out their sizzling balut or better yet their kinilaw which looks nothing like one. Quite impressive actually.
GUSTO MARE AT IL CORSO SRP

If District at 53rd was urban, this Italian relative under the Anzani Group has a laidback vibe to it due mainly to its wonderful location. Culinary standards wise, this restaurant never failed to impress us. So if you’re in SM Seaside City and would want to escape the crowded food court, just drive a few hundred meters to Il Corso. I assure you, the dining experience would be worth it.
Now I’m assuming you’ve saved up a little for your first monthsary. I’m telling you in advance that these restaurants could really set you back at least a couple thousand pesos. Oh, the things we do for the people we love. If you’re on a tight budget however, ask Youtube’s help and cook a special meal at home, she’ll still appreciate it. If you decide to push through with one of these romantic restaurants, tell us about your date below.
