Situated about an hour away east from Manila, Antipolo city is known as a Catholic pilgrimage site. It was indeed an incredible opportunity to be part of Antipolo Media Tour 2019, all carefully designed by the one and only Mr. Mon of Bienvenido Tours. We were toured around the best parts of this city and experienced some of the interesting things Antipolo has to offer.
Here are the top 5 accommodation and restaurants you may want to check out on your next vacation in Antipolo city.
Stay. Boso Boso Highlands Resort
If waking up with a view is your ideal vacation, you should definitely check out Boso Boso Highlands. It is sometimes called the little Baguio as the temperature and ambiance are quite similar to the city of Pines, Baguio City. The overlooking view of Sierra Madre is totally gorgeous!
They have different room options for guests, such as a family room that is good for 5 with breakfast. Php 3,800. You may also enjoy other facilities here, like their swimming pool.
Eat. Cafe Cristina
Located inside Boso Boso Highlands Resort, this cafe offers delicious breakfast. It one of the most favorites stops by travelers before journeying to the province of Rizal. They serve mostly Filipino food such as daing na Bangus, corned beef silog, and coffee.

Stay. Mount Purro Nature Reserve
Mount Purro Nature Reserve is a family-run eco-park, tucked away in the Sierra Madre Mountain Range’s foothills. It has a handful of rooms with protection from mosquitoes and other insects’ varieties to make sure every guest will have a blissful sleep. It’s open for day trips and staycations. Here, one can enjoy the peaceful and serene side of Antipolo. Mount Purro Nature Reserve also implements a no-WiFi policy to encourage guests to disconnect for a moment from the noise of the modern world.
Mount Purro is an ideal hideaway for families, small or big groups, or even solo travelers. It offers carefully designed indoor and outdoor activities regardless of the season.
Eat. Loli’s Kitchen
Loli’s kitchen is Mount Purro Nature Reserve’s in-house restaurant. They strongly put into practice the “no use of MSG” ( Monosodium Glutamate) and only use organic ingredients. This makes their food offering all-natural, healthy, and absolutely delicious! During lunchtime, they serve a buffet that offers Filipino food, such as pinakbet, monggo, ensaladang talong, etc. They also prepare freshly harvested bananas and fried sweet camote from the Dumagat Tribe.

Stay. First Pacific Leadership Academy (FPLA)
First Pacific Leader Academy is a training ground for innovation and development sitting on a 10-hectare property, surrounded by lush green environments. FLPA prides itself on producing champions who trained using their high class, modern facilities.
FLPA also offers lodging arrangements. For two persons, one Junior suite costs around Php10,000. Other types of accommodation include executive suites, single rooms, twin sharing, and barn dormitory type.
Eat. Tipulo Modern Filipino Cuisine
Tipulo restaurant (named after a tree that is native in Antipolo) will never disappoint you from satisfying your cravings for authentic Filipino food. All dishes are freshly cooked by their chefs, who personally greet their guests to make sure they are happy. Must-try dishes include their Kare Kare, deep-fried pata, and sinigang na hipon.
Tipulo restaurant can be found inside the First Pacific Leadership Academy. They only serve checked-in guests of FPLA. The place is very quiet, calm, and secluded, ideal for couples and travelers who want privacy. The prices are affordable too! Tipulo deserves two thumbs-up for serving one of the most luscious Filipino cuisines I’ve personally tasted.

Eugenio Lopez Center
Eugenio Lopez Center doesn’t have the ambitious entrance, nor does it claim to stand out among hotels or accommodation that you can find in Antipolo City, yet, it has the perfect spot that offers an amazing view of the city. The view is especially wonderful at night.
It has over 38 guest rooms. Likewise, the center caters as a venue for special events like seminars, corporate parties, or meetings.
Eat. Oscar’s
I suggest going for dinner at Oscar’s, which offers sumptuous continental and Filipino cuisine. Must-try is their monster burger and sinigang na bangus belly with watermelon. After filling your hungry stomach, indulge with their sweetest piece of cheesecake. I completely gave in that I couldn’t stand up from my chair anymore!
Furthermore, live jazz music is ready to serenade you while sipping your favorite glass of wine, enjoying the perfect view of Manila.
Luljetta’s Hanging Gardens & Spa
I guess many people have already heard of Luljetta’s Hanging Gardens & Spa. It is probably one of the most stayed accommodations and most instagrammable places in Antipolo. You will be welcomed by their well-groomed and warm staff. You will enjoy their spa facilities that include a heated jacuzzi, sauna, and infinity swimming pools. You will also set to have a good-night sleep in their rooms with very comfortable and cozy beds.
Eat. Luljetta’s Cafe
It is a good place to start your day. Enjoy the delectable breakfast buffet serving the all-time favorite Filipino food, such as fried rice, corned beef with potato chunks, coffee, etc.
When you’re checked in as a guest at Luljetta’s Hanging Gardens and Spa, the breakfast buffet is optional. Otherwise, you can have the plated ones.
However, don’t get confused as there are two distinctly Luljetta’s Cafe. You can dine for breakfast buffet and the other, on the other side of the property where you can have a refreshing lemongrass tea and suman with a twist. The latter is perfect after the spa.
