While having a staycation here in Marco Polo Hotel Davao, I got an invitation from my friends from Jollibee to attend their 19th Jollibee Maaga ang Pasko Mindanao Launch.

During the launch of Maaga ang Pasko earlier in SM City Ecoland in Davao City, new batch of partner schools and companies as well as new Jolly Toy Scouts have joined Jollibee’s longest running book and toy donation drive in the country.
Before the program started, Some Jollibee Toy Scouts enjoyed preparing Christmas Cards with their own design and concepts using the available materials provided by Jollibee Davao.

The spirit of giving and sharing is never more evident among Filipino families than during the Christmas season. Wherever they are in the world, the Filipinos’ generosity shines brightest during this time of the year. Jollibee Maaga ang Pasko, lets families around the globe take part in an annual tradition of spreading smiles and cheer for less fortunate kids this Christmas with the launch of the 19th year of the campaign.

Ms. Grace Mercado, Jollibee Operations Director for Mindanao, also shared that Jollibee is launching the Maaga ang Pasko microsite, where families here or abroad can donate a toy and book online. This is made possible with the help of our campaign partners Toy Kingdom and Goodwill Bookstore”.

The campaign is also tapping the Filipino communities in the United States, Middle East, Hongkong and Singapore – where Maaga ang Pasko boxes will be placed in Jollibee stores. “With the campaign going global beginning this year, we’re hoping to bring together families here and abroad to make Christmas even merrier for more children and families,” expressed Mercado.
Kindhearted families can donate online to Maaga ang Pasko starting this November. To make an online donation, visit www.jollibee.com.ph and click on the Maaga ang Pasko microsite. Simply choose from the available toy packs or book bundles and follow the simple steps. Every purchase will be automatically donated to Maaga ang Pasko.
