Hannah & Adam of GettingStamped loves Koh Lipe because if the crystal clear water, fun vibe, and amazing food on the island. In summer time the island clears out and you can have the entire island just about to yourself. There are only a few places on earth that are very close to our hearts and Koh Lipe is one of them. The island of Koh Lipe, Thailand is just the right blend of fun, sun, food, and sand.

Since Batanes is far away, Paula the Mermaid of Ponderingpaodaolei.net has found another paradise in the northenrmost tip of Luzon island called Claveria. Lol. I love this place because it has everything from secluded beaches to flowing rivers to vast plantations. And the people are also very nice. I love swimming in the Taggat Lagoon and losing myself in the cool waters of Sentinela. I am seeing many more visits to this town I now call my second home. I am seeing a third visit in the near future.

Clelia loves Sardinia because, after years of traveling to the most spectacular places in the world, she realized that there is no place like home. Sardinia has some of the most amazing beaches you’ll ever seen, friendly people, so proud of their own land and sea, and let’s not forget the delicious food! This is maybe one of the main reasons why I loved the Philippines at first sight. Because we share so much passion and pride for our own countries. I am a lucky girl to be born in one of the most beautiful Islands in the world. And for once, I’d like to show my pride for that!

My favorite summer spot is my hometown Naga City in Camarines Sur, because every time I go back home, I keep finding new activities to do there. Last visit, I got to try rappelling down a scenic waterfall. Am looking forward to biking, visiting other waterfalls, heading to the beach, and trying out new adventure activities there this summer! Marky Go’s pick is the island of Marinduque. “I fell in love with this province even before I became enamored with traveling. During college years, a few or my friends would spend holy week here at my best friend’s house in Mogpog and we will witness the entire Moriones celebration from the get go and culminating in the ceremonial beheading of Longhinus. After that, we’ll hit the beach and pass by endless scenic fields and exchanging shots of rum with other friendly locals. It was this experience of coming back here multiple times that partly drove me to extend my desire to travel to many places afterward.”

My favorite summer spot would be Siargao, no doubts about that! It’s an idyllic island in southern Philippines and one of the most relaxing places I have been. The place is actually a popular spot for surfers from all around the world, but this island has so much more to offer, it’s pure bliss and a tropical paradise even for those who don’t want to ride the waves. “Living in the busy metro my whole life somehow makes me long for those peaceful holiday getaways every now and then. It just so happens that Bohol is the perfect place for any kind of pleasurable escape from urban life. Not only do they take pride in their powdery white sand and turquoise blue waters, but also in the numerous activities that one can experience in this incredible province. The possibilities in Bohol are endless!” – Yen Dreyfus of Thetummytraveler.ph

Nathan Allen of “I Dreamed Of This” loves Tibiao, Antique – Philippines! It’s a very unique off-the-beaten-path destination that has a little bit of everything – beaches, adventure trekking, and beautiful rice paddies. You can rappel down a waterfall and then warm up in a hot “kawa” bath just like this!
