Travel Gears Bodega Sale in Binondo

I know its not the best time for shopping but how can you resist if your favorite travel gears are on sale?

I just got the info from a Filipino backpacker who now resides in UK (yeah for real) that his sister bought couple of travel gears in a Bodega Sale located in Binondo.

I just plainly said “Oh that’s interesting”, coz I know Binondo is where half of Divisoria is situated so you can definitely find all sorts of fake products from China.

Whats Inside?

I asked back, where in Binondo? When he mentioned that its in State Centre Building, I literally said Waddafuck… How come I didn’t know this? That’s the office building of R.O.X, Columbia Sportswear, The Northface and The Travel Club.

Two days before the last day of sale, I found myself in Binondo finding my way to the State Centre Building. Right in front of the building, I saw a little bit crowded vacant office space in the ground floor so I figured out that it could be the Bodega Sale venue.

Columbia Sportswear Titanium Pants for just P500?

Upon entering the site, I immediately asked the attendant for the specific location where I can find my two favorite brands, Columbia Sportswear and The North Face.

I saw couple of familiar faces in the Columbia Sportswear section, I met them in Kalinga couple of years back while conquering the wild rapids of Chico River. I immediately looked for a pair of pants but there’s no more left other than a dozen of vests.

Good thing, somebody returned a Columbia Titanium pants so I immediately grabbed it and yes that same guy returned a Columbia sweatshirt too.

That was the same pair of pants Ive been wanting to buy last February but that’s gonna cost me a little less than P4,000, Man that’s already five or six round trip tickets with a local budget airline haha!

The North Face products are also sold out but I guess I was just lucky that day… I also got three North Face shirts for only P600 and yes from the same guy who returned the Columbia items (LOL).

What will i do with the three (3) TNF shirts with identical design? Well I’ll probably raffle it off to my readers soon…
