GoHotels.ph – An affordable hotel for every Juan
Hotel Reviews, Philippines, Travel Tips — By melo on May 9, 2010 1:06 amAlong with fellow Bloggers, we are now currently staying here in the newest hotel in Manila called GoHotels.ph.
From the same group of company who brought us affordable flights and airline promotions like the 1 Peso seat sale, Robinsons Land introduces Gohotels.ph – a new concept in the Philippine hotel industry which operates similar to budget airline.

GoHotels.ph – a new hotel for every Juan
As of this writing, I am staying in a room fronting Edsa and I love the view, though its a bit hot in the morning but you will be rewarded with a beautiful sunset view in the afternoon.
This hotel accommodation concept is good for a frequent traveller like me since you get to choose what you pay for. Because the rates are relatively cheap compare to 98% decent hotels in Metro Manila, other amenities like breakfast, parking and toiletries are offered as add-ons and are not automatically part of the room rate quoted on the site.
If you are still not convinced, Imagine a clean air-conditioned room strategically located in Edsa which for as low as P388+ night. If you just want to unwind or you have future plans of visiting Manila, make sure to go online and book early to enjoy the lowest rate possible.
The hotel currently has 223 rooms that are outfitted with quality beds – 93 rooms have queen-sized beds, while there are 130 rooms with twin beds – chiropractic and fiberfill pillows, 100% cotton sheets, rain shower and handheld shower, free Wi-Fi Access, and LCD TV.

New Hotel in Edsa by Robinsons Land
Robinsons Land plans to put a hotel in most locations where Robinsons Mall is present and the location should also be a destination where Cebu Pacific flies.
Apart from the newly opened hotel Manila, They will also open new hotels in Tacloban, Dumaguete and Palawan pretty soon so we can expect new hotels in the said destinations.
Wherelse can you find a perfect bed with free Wi-fi, Flat Screen TV with Cable, Magnetic Key Card equipped rooms in a very affordable price?
The first Gohotels.ph will open on May 19,2010 at the upper ground level of Robinsons Cybergate Plaza along EDSA in Mandaluyong City. For inquiries and reservations, log on to http://www.gohotels.ph. You may also call 0922-GOHOTEL (0922-4646835) or (02) 398-8788.
We will checkout tommorow morning after a sponsored breakfast by Tokyo Cafe:) more stories tom:) Good Night everyone!!

i need to know the room rates. is it good for two?
do you have rooms like executive room or standard room like in every 3, 4 or 5 five hotel? is it convenient for a foreigner visitor?
ASAP reply.
Thanks so much.
nice one! will check this out next time I’m there..The concept somehow reminds me of Tune Hotels affiliated with AirAsia. It’s great specially if you’re in between flights and its near the MRT..

My husband and I planned to stay here overnight as a starting point on an early out-of-town trip. We were bringing our 5-yr-old with us. It was on July 2, 2010. When my husband called to reserve a room, he was informed that they accept walk-in guests, so he didn’t reserve anymore. I was wondering why they didn’t even encourage him to reserve a room at once, when he was all but offering them the business. But we were assured on the phone that we were going to be entertained when we get there, so we packed and drove 2 hours to get to the hotel. My husband’s office is right next door so it was convenient for us.
Due to limited parking slots, we had to give the car keys to the valet, which my husband was leery about because the car is his ‘baby’. We got the bags and went up to the lobby with our 5-year-old. When we got to the reception area, there were 6 employees waiting around, talking. They were polite enough, but one of them told us that they weren’t accepting walk-in guests at the moment! Man, imagine our disappointment, especially our 5-year-old! We asked them if they couldn’t accommodate us at all as we had been informed over the phone that they were accepting walk-in guests that day. We had to go back to the car, pay P45 for the 15 minutes we were there, and hunt for another hotel. To make matters worse, our car was ‘Coding’ at the time and it was nearly 3pm! We tried calling the numbers for Go Hotel to try reserving a room for that day but no one was manning the phones. It just kept ringing and ringing. We called 10 times. Their online reservations aren’t working at all. We ended up checking in at The Legend Villas nearby and had better service there. We had to pay way more than expected, but the convenience was worth it. Our son wasn’t disappointed at all.
I hope Go Hotel management work all these kinks out. We would like to try there again one more time to see if they can do better. For the price they are offering and the new rooms, we’d like to try staying there as we are avid travelers and the combination of location, amenities and price are unbeatable. If we experience another disappointment like this, especially if we have the kids with us, we won’t be patronizing or recommending the hotel at all, however cheap.
madam/sir help me naman i’ve been sending querry to gohotels but ’til now no response, i need the answer asap so we can finalize & arrange the payment. I would appreciate if u can help me. This is my mail to them:
Good day!
Hi! I’m Rosemarie from Sta. Rosa, Laguna.
Were planning to spend our honeymoon in your hotel this coming December 25-27, 2010. We’ve seen your website still have some questions:
1. My husband is arriving at NAIA , 12 midnight of December 25. Do you provide service car? How much it will cost? What if, for any reason the flight was delay, does it has extra charges?
2. You serve breakfast (separate charge) how about lunch & dinner?
3. Will you allow me to look around & check the rooms & facilities before I finalize my booking & pay?
4. If I pay in cash as walk-in guest, is the price the same with online booking?
We prefer to stay at high floor outer room location with double bed.
Can you provide us a quotation for this & complete details to our query.
Hope to hear from you soon.
Thank you & More Power!
