Club Paradise Island resort is definitely one of the prettiest resort I have ever been to in the entire archipelago. The resort is located on its own small island called Dimakya Island which is just off the coast of Coron, Palawan.

Enroute to Club Paradise

It was pretty simple to get there from Manila, we took SEAIR to Busuanga then the resort arranged for our transport from there. We were driven first in a jeepney to the dock then boarded a pretty nice boat that took us the rest of the way to the resort.

The pampering started on the boat as we were provided tasty snacks and drinks, a foreshadowing of what was to come! As we pulled up to Club Paradise, I was astounded at the brightness of the turquoise water and the perfect stretch of white sand beach. It really did look like a scene right off of a postcard.

After we disembarked from the boat, we were treated to welcome drinks as the employees sang to welcome us to the resort. I was again surprised when I got to my room that somehow my luggage beat me there, and then I remembered the welcome reception. Pretty slick!

The room was comfortable and had both air conditioning and satellite television, the ceiling fan was more than enough though and I really didn’t come to watch television during my entire stay.  I visited the resort as part of my writing and photography assignment for a local travel magazine.

Lovely Sunset!

On our second day, I had a short trek in the islands highest peak. It took me 30 minutes to reach the pinnacle and I was really surprised how they preserved their mini forest in its natural state providing a perfect habitat for local flora and fauna. Our stay is all inclusive, and it was amazing how the chef was able to come up with delicious dishes for each meal.

The resort also features  a great kids club, coffee shop, pool, water sports, Jacuzzi, as well as wireless internet, and volleyball/tennis courts.  I definitely recommend that you checkout the resort on your future Coron Palawan visit. Perhaps one of the most attractive scenery in the island apart from the beautifully built cottages are the stunning sunsets that I saw every afternoon from my room on the west side of the island.

I really like what you post here, very insightful and intelligent. One issue though, I’m running Firefox on Ubuntu and parts of your content are a little broken. I know it’s not a common setup, but it is still something to to keep in mind. Just giving you a heads up.
